 As Good As New Store
Phil 2: 14 & 15 "Do everything
without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and
pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved
generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe."
"As Good As New", is a star, a
light deep in the heart of our community helping lead people to the
place where they can find Jesus! An outreach from The Ulster Temple Elim Pentecostal Church from which all the proceeds go to aid
mission and local community projects.
Harry, the shop manager says,
"People come in for more than furniture, they come in for prayer. We
give away Bibles and people are aware this is an outreach from the
church." One member of our community helped by the shop wrote a
letter thanking "the church for coming into the community".
Through various Government schemes
people get valuable work experience, helping them in their progress
from welfare into work. The fire that is reflected by Harry and the
team at "As Good As New" is one that people warm to and aren't burnt
by!
If you would like to help us bring
warmth and God's light to our neighbours we are always in need of
good quality furniture, electrical goods, bric-a-brac and books for
resale in our store. We would be very grateful for any such
donations.
