Missions
Elim Missions

David JenningsWELCOME to the missions page – the heart of God! Missions are at the heart of the purposes and plans of God for the whole of creation. His plans to reveal His love to the nations have been in existence before time began. As a church, we are very much part of these plans therefore we want to ensure His word is obeyed with all; Diligence, authority, wisdom, accountability and power.

Our Missions Our Desire! Missions today are very different than they were twenty, fifty or 100 years ago. Times are changing and so are many of the methods used but the message is still the same and is today as powerful and relevant as ever! It is our time, for our generation, to share the greatest message of all.

It is our hearts desire to see the implementation of God’s plans on earth by: Stimulating a mission centred culture, permeating the lives of all members and church adherents, both young and old; Encouraging all to know their role in regards to the implementation of God’s plans; Identifying, equipping, sending and supporting those sent into the mission field God has set apart for service.

If you wish to know more or speak to someone about missions please contact David Jennings our missions co-ordinator.

John and Ann Turner
John and Ann Turner

John and Ann have been working in Phnom Penh, Cambodia since April 2006. Since their arrival John and Ann have been involved in a variety of challenging ministries. Over the past couple of years they have seen God bless their work despite government restrictions placed upon all Christian Ministries working in Cambodia.

Based in the city, John pastors the only Elim Pentecostal Church which has two services each Sunday.

One an English speaking service, mostly attended by expats, the second a Khmer service, mainly attended by the Khmer Christians, most of whom are converts through the church outreach ministries.

Other expressions of their work involves: Teaching English, Children's Bible Clubs, Children's Day Care Centre and training in Women's House Keeping and handy craft skills.

We praise God that many Khmer lives are being touched with the love of God through their ministry.
