Divine Healing

Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV), “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover”.

God’s primary aim through Christ was to restore the broken relationship between God and man, which was caused by sin. We believe that God is not only interested in healing that broken relationship, but all broken relationships, so we can come to Him if our hearts are broken, our minds are confused or our bodies are sick.

God has declared Himself our healer and described Jesus as the great physician. We take seriously the order laid out in James Chapter 5:14-16 and regularly anoint people with oil, trusting that the prayer of faith for the sick will make them whole.

But the role for praying for the sick is not limited to the Elders of the church, there are others called and used by God in this area of ministry and every believer has that authority when led by God.

1 Cor 12:9 (NKJV) “…to another the gifts of healing”

James 5:16b (NKJV), “…the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman) avails much.

What are the Healing Rooms?

The Healing Rooms of the Ulster Temple provide a loving, safe, confidential environment where you can come to receive healing prayer. While we must acknowledge that it is not in God’s plan to heal every sickness, many people may be healed instantly by a miraculous touch from God. Others may receive their healing progressively over a period of days, weeks or months. We are committed to pray for you for the long-term, contending for your full and complete healing! We minister salvation, physical healing and emotional healing to the complete person (spirit, soul and body).

Who Are We and What Do We Do?

Our Healing Rooms team consists of trusted and equipped people who assemble in small groups of two or three to pray for the sick. The team prepare themselves to be open channels through which the Holy Spirit can flow. There is only one "super-star" in our midst: Jesus!

Jesus the Healer

We believe, as Hebrews 13:8 states, that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever". While He walked this earth He healed the sick, cast out demons and performed many miracles. We believe He is the same today and still does these things. We pray with that understanding and in the powerful name of Jesus. We believe according to Isaiah 53:4-5, that Jesus paid for our healing on the cross. "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

....

Psalm 95:

“Come let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song”.

As a music team it is our desire to lead the congregation, through praise and worship, into a place of intimacy with God. That place should be unique, living and immediate, providing a time of refreshing, and inviting the people to freely worship in the river of God that can only be found in corporate worship.

OurPraise and worship is a powerful tool against the enemy for God’s people. As “He inhabits the praises of His people,” it is possible for people to receive their miracle as they worship Him in Spirit and in truth. worship leaders seek God’s desire for each service so that the worship is directed by God for God. We hope that as you share in our times of praise and worship that you find them exciting and energetic but most of all that you experience God.

It is important to encourage, develop, teach and train existing and new members of the music team, both vocally and musically. This is done at rehearsals and through specific programs.

King Solomon said of God’s house, “The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other God’s.

He knew the house he was going to build would have to be one of excellence.

God deserves the best, and as a music team we strive to give Him that by seeking to develop the talents that He has given to us.

Being part of a music team calls for disciplined rehearsals and commitment. This is the least that we can give to Him. We look forward with anticipation and excitement because there is so much more to explore in God and His music.

Praise steps started in 2004 and has been going on most Sundays since. I, as the leader, have really enjoyed Praise Steps and trust that so have the girls I have taught too.

We have, during the four years, learnt many dances and performed them at various family services. We have also performed at another church's service quite recently.

From the start, the verse that has struck me is from Psalm 149 v 3 which says...

"Let us praise His name in the dance, Let us sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and the harp"

Praising Jesus name is what Praise Steps is all about! If you love to dance and praise, and would like to know more about Praise Steps, email us today.
